11月15日，呂志和書院邀請了前羽毛球世界冠軍馬晉，作為嘉賓出席由書院學術部舉辨的「呂院大講堂第五期：與世界冠軍面對面」。
活動首先由呂志和書院院長藍志雄教授向馬晉贈送紀念品和感謝狀。其後由副院長周國暉教授主持活動。通過輕鬆的問答形式，馬晉與四十多名呂院院生就不同問題分享其經驗，就成為澳門大學學生，如何處理逆境等問題進行交流。她分享到其自身的經歷，特別地提到「機會來的時候，你其實並不知道機會來了」和「等你意識到機會來了你再準備就遲了」 來勉勵同學要時候準備和武裝自己。
「呂院大講堂」為呂志和書院學術部的系列活動，通過邀請不同的專家，教授，成功人士以及校友進入書院與院生進行交流分享，給同學帶來不同的視野和經驗。
On 15th November, the former badminton world champion Ma Jin was invited to Lui Che Woo College as a guest of the activity “5th LCWC Forum – Talk with World Champion”.
The event started with the presentation of souvenirs and a certificate of appreciation to Ma Jin by College Master Professor Desmond LAM Chee Shiong. The event was then presided over by Associate Master Professor CHAO Kuok Fai. Through a simple question and answer format, Ma Jin interacted with more than 40 students from Lui Che Woo College and discussed meaningful issues with them such as “what was it like to be a student at the University of Macau” and “how to deal with adversity”. She shared her own experiences, and mentioned “You do not realize that the opportunity is coming when it comes” and “It will be too late to prepare when you realize that the opportunity has come” in order to encourage students to be better prepared for their future and equip themselves with relevant skills.
“LCWC Forum” is a special college programme consisting of a series of activities organized by the Academic Section of Lui Che Woo College. By inviting different experts, professors, successful people and alumni into the college to interact and share with students, we hope to bring different perspectives to, and enhance the experiences of, LCWC students.
