LCWC organized service-learning trip to Kenya from 20 May to 5 June 2019. This is the second time LCWC organized trip to Kenya. The main purpose of the trip was to provide voluntary teaching in Oloolaimutia Primacy School and help with the wall painting in Masai Mara. Compared with last year, this year’s trip was led by two student leaders, more students joined the trip and more diversified courses were provided, such as painting, music, math, economics, geography, etc. Through this activity, students’ leadership skills, teamwork skills and interpersonal skills got improved significantly. Their adaptability and resilience got well trained as well. In addition, students experienced tribe cultures in Kenya and engaged in deep reflection on development poverty in modern society.
