香港中文大學（深圳）厚含書院於3月8至10日到訪呂志和書院參觀交流。書院教職員和學生領袖策劃了一系列與文化探索、知識交流和社區服務相關的活動，旨在促進雙方認識、交流及友誼。
首先，厚含書院院生參觀了澳門大學圖書館，了解它的藝術設計和典籍收藏。助理圖書館館長梁德海先生並在圖書館導覽期間分享了他的一些有趣的故事和見解。
接着，他們參與了呂志和書院安排的校園及書院活動，當中包括澳門大學音樂節、老人院拜訪及戶外燒烤活動，讓他們體驗澳大書院生活，同時弘揚對老年人的同情心和社會責任。除參與澳大及書院活動外，他們還參觀了澳門博物館，讓他們帶來了豐富的文化體驗及加深了澳門的文化遺產的了解。
這次交流計劃為呂志和書院和厚含書院未來的合作奠定了基礎，兩所書院表達了會致力於促進持續合作和為學生提供未來合作機會的承諾。
A three-day exchange visit to Lui Che Woo College (LCWC) from The Minerva College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) was organized on 8 to 10 March 2024. staff and student leaders planned a series of activities filled with cultural exploration, intellectual engagement, and community service, aiming to foster intercultural understanding and friendship.
During the visit, they explored the UM Library to learn about its impressive art and book collections and were guided by Assistant University Librarian, Mr. Billy LEUNG, to share fascinating stories and insights, making the experience more significant.
Then, we arranged some UM and LCWC activities such as UM Music Festival, elderly house visits, and barbecue for their participation in order to provide them an opportunity to experience college lives in the UM as well as to promote the spirit of compassion and social responsibility to take care of the elderly. In addition, we arranged a visit to Macau Museum for them to enrich their cultural experience and have a better understanding of the Macau heritage.
The exchange program has paved the way for future collaborations between LCWC and The Minerva College. Both colleges expressed their commitment to foster ongoing partnerships and opportunities for students to engage in future cooperation.
