To broaden students’ global perspectives, LCWC organized a transformative study tour to Singapore for 22 students and staff. The trip fostered a rich learning environment through cultural immersion, academic exploration, and experiential learning across disciplines like engineering, business, and social sciences. Participants benefited from direct engagement with the Singaporean academic landscape and a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives.

Hosted by the College of Alice and Peter Tan (CAPT) at the National University of Singapore (NUS), the group engaged with faculty and ambassadors, gaining insights into their unique college culture. The itinerary included visits to innovative centers like the Engineering Design and Innovation Centre and the Institute for the Public Understanding of Risk, sparking discussions on practical application and critical thinking. A tour of Nanyang Technological University further exposed students to Singapore’s dynamic academic environment.

Beyond academics, the tour offered immersive cultural experiences, including visits to iconic landmarks like Marina Bay Sands and the National Museum of Singapore, alongside a guided bike tour through the city’s charming lanes. The students extend their deepest gratitude to University of Macau Development Foundation for their subsidy, which made this enriching study tour possible for them.
