From June 8 to June 14, 2025, a group of motivated students from Lui Che Woo College led by College Master, Prof. Desmond LAM, and Resident Fellow, Dr. SUN Sisi embarked on an unforgettable trip to Japan for an academic exchange. The adventure focused heavily on academic exchange, including engaging classes at Teikyo University and the University of Tokyo. Our students participated in cultural and society classes, where they shared insights about the history, culture, and society of Macau, and introduced our university’s RC system.

Additionally, we took part in a global studies class that allowed students to compare various social issues, including economy, education, and environment, between China and Japan. In the Chinese language classes, our students taught Japanese students the language, enhancing their language skills while fostering meaningful cultural exchange.

This trip was more than just an educational experience; it was a valuable opportunity to cultivate an international vision and develop soft power among students. By connecting with peers from overseas, we enhanced our global competitiveness and intercultural communication skills.
