2024年11月6日，呂志和書院舉辦了一場紀念書院成立十周年的高桌晚宴。此次活動吸引了近230位學生及嘉賓出席，包括副校長（學生事務）莫啟明教授、銀河娛樂集團董事程裕昇先生、銀河娛樂集團企業事務董事及呂志和書院資深校友導師林志成博士、呂志和書院創院院長葉銘泉教授、蔡繼有書院院長梁美兒教授、張崑崙書院院長黃民聰教授及學生事務長彭執中先生。晚會以莫教授的開幕致辭揭開序幕，他回顧了大學住宿式書院教育系統的發展歷程以及過去十年所取得的重要里程碑。隨後，呂志和書院院長藍志雄教授也對自書院成立以來所有支持和貢獻者表示感謝。

嘉賓們欣賞了書院學生們帶來的精彩表演，演出包含了一段美聲獨唱及一段小提琴獨奏，展現了呂志和書院學生的藝術才華。

在晚宴的不同時段，播放了書院過去十年之重要里程碑及校友分享書院成就的影片，涵蓋了學術成就和社區外展計劃，並送上多位校友之祝賀影片。晚會的高潮是一個簡單而富有意義的儀式，尊貴的嘉賓們依次在十周年紀念T恤上簽名，象徵著團結與共同成就。

這場特別的高桌晚宴不僅慶祝了過去的成就，也激發了對未來的希望，強化了呂志和書院對於培養充滿活力的學習環境和強烈社群感的堅定承諾，期待在未來十年中繼續成長並取得卓越成就。

On 6th November 2024, Lui Che Woo College (LCWC) proudly celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special High Table Dinner – an event attended by nearly 230 attendees including our Vice Rector (Student Affairs) Prof. Mok Kai Meng, Director of Galaxy Entertainment Group Mr. Philip Cheng Yee Sing, Director of Corporate Affairs of Galaxy Entertainment Group and Senior Alumni Fellow of Lui Che Woo College Dr. Buddy Lam Chi Seng, Founding Master of LCWC Prof. Yip Ming Chuen, College Master of Choi Kai Yau College Prof. Leung May Yee, College Master of Cheong Kun Lun College Prof. Wong Man Chung, and Dean of Students Mr. Pang Chap Chong. The evening began with opening remarks from Prof. Mok, who reflected on the journey of University’s Residential College Education System and the significant milestones achieved over the past decade, and then from LCWC’s College Master Prof. Desmond Lam, who gave thanks to those who had contributed to the development of LCWC since its inception.

Guests enjoyed captivating performances by talented college students that featured a traditional vocal music piece and a stunning violin solo, showcasing the artistic talents within LCWC’s community.

At different intervals during the course of the dinner, videos of LCWC Journey – A Decade in Review (2014-2024) as well as alumni sharing their stories of the college’s accomplishments, which ranged from academic achievements to community outreach initiatives, and congratulatory messages were aired. The highlight of the evening was a short but meaningful ceremony whereby our esteemed guests took turns to sign on a commemorative 10th anniversary T-shirt,  symbolizing unity and shared achievements.

This special High Table Dinner not only celebrated the past but also inspired hope for the future, reinforcing LCWC’s strong commitment to foster a vibrant learning environment and a strong sense of community as the college looks forward to another decade of growth and achievement.
