Lui Che Woo College (LCWC) successfully held its third High Table Dinner of AY2016/2017 on 30 March 2017. Over 200 students and guests came together to share their enjoyable college life. Prof. Yip Ming-Chuen (Master of LCWC), Prof. Tam Sik Chung (Associate Master and Chief of Students), Resident Fellows, college staffs and college students joined together to welcome our distinguished guests Prof. Haydn H. D. Chen (Vice Rector – Student Affairs), Prof. Jin Hong Gang (Dean of FAH), Prof. De Bao Xu (College Master of MMKLPSC), Prof. Yuen Ka Veng (Registrar of Academic Affairs Office), Mr. Pang Chap Chong (Dean of Students – Student Affairs Office), Prof. Rico Lam (Head of Management and Marketing and Professor of FBA / Acting Associate Dean of R&D ), Ms. Chau Kwai Chee (Head of Student Development Section / Acting Director of OSA), Mr. Sou Kuai Long (Head of Student Counselling Section), Prof. Leong Ieng Tak (Assistant Professor of FST), Mr. Derek Chan (Senior Instructor of FBA), Prof. Zheng Jun (Assistant Professor of FHS) and Prof. Tam Mei Leng (Assistant Professor of FAH).
Besides the guest of honors, professors and college students, Lui Che Woo College invited the high school students (Principal Recommend Applicants) from Macau secondary schools to participate the dinner. They can experience the college life by joining this dinner. During the dinner, Mr. Sio Hon Pan (Curator of Macao Science Centre) gave an inspiring talk on the topic “Hidden Professionals” with the students, and College Master Prof. Yip also shared his thoughts on the importance of experiential collegiate learning. Lastly, two groups of singing performances lightened up the dinner’s atmosphere and drew enthusiastic applause from the audiences.
When the dinner almost came to an end, the College Master, Associate Master and the college staff proposed a toast to the students for expressing thankfulness and best wish to their studies. A lot of students took photos with the guests and their fellow college students in the dining hall after the dinner, which gave the dinner a wonderful and warming ending.
