Lui Che Woo College holds its first High Table Dinner of AY2015/2016 successfully - Lui Che Woo College

Lui Che Woo College (LCWC) successfully held its first High Table Dinner of AY2015/2016 on 8 October 2015. Over 200 teachers and students came together to share their enjoyable college life. Prof. Yip Ming-Chuen (Master of LCWC), Dr. Chan Moon Fai (Associate Master and Chief of Students), Resident Fellows, college staffs and college students joined together to welcome our distinguished guests Prof. Wei ZHAO (Rector of UM), Prof. Chuxia DENG (Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences), Prof. Yufan HAO (Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences), Prof. Ling CHUNG (College Master of Cheng Yu Tung College), Dr. Peter Yu (Dean of Students – Student Affairs Office), Dr. Patrick CHAN (Director of Office of Sport Affairs), Mr. P.C. VONG (Director of Alumni and Development Office), Prof. Da-Hsuan Feng (Director of Global Affairs and Special Advisor to Rector), Dr. Siu Kwai YEUNG (Assistant Professor of FED), Dr. Wan Fong HUI (Assistant Professor of FED), Dr. Mei-Jiun WU (Assistant Professor of FED), Prof. See Kam TAN (Associate Professor of FAH), Dr LI Jian (Associate Professor of FAH), Prof. Guangjian TU (Associate Professor of FLL), Dr. Charles Mark ZAROFF (Assistant Professor of FSS), Dr. Chi Kong WONG (Assistant Professor of FST), Dr. Tsz On LEE (Assistant Professor of FHS), Dr. Weiwei LIU (Senior Instructor of FHS), Prof. CHEN Xiaoyun (Associate Professor of FBA) and Dr. Alice Wong, MD (Honorary Superintendent of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan).

During the dinner, Prof. Zhao highlighted the distinctive features of University of Macau, from the construction design, education model to curriculum design, by showing the video of his interview years ago. Prof. Deng reported the statistics of the chronic diseases and introduced the concept of sub-health, he also used a variety of factors to explain how the abnormal cells influence health. He encouraged our students to make good use of the college facilities and do more exercise in order to maintain a health body. Followed by LCWC House Association of AY 2015/2016 announced its establishment and introduced its executives and chairs, two college students prepared a singing performance, which highlighted the atmosphere of the event.

When the dinner came to the end, College Master, Associate Master, all distinguished guests and college staffs proposed a toast to the students for expressing the thankfulness and best wish to their studies. After the dinner, college students were eager to take photos with Masters and Fellows, which gave the dinner a memorable ending.
